Welcome to Croptoberfest 2021 with Craft Some Joy!

I am so happy you have decided to join me for my 2021 celebration. In addition to the free 30 Days of Gratitude workshop that you can find on my YouTube channel starting Friday October 15th, I will also be sharing exclusive borders and cards in this class to make along with your gratitude pages.

I love being able to focus on the positive, and to put into writing the daily gifts that I am grateful for. I also enjoy making borders (as you have probably guessed) and creating cards. So my challenge was how to get all three of these projects created with the Croptoberfest kit from this year.

After several iterations, my cutting guide was completed, and that will be the framework for all three of the projects we are creating this year. If you have already watched and completed the gratitude pages, then just skip ahead in the video to the cutting guide for the cards and borders. If you have not completed those pages, at the end of the video you will have a bag ready with the components you will need to get those pages done, and you can watch my video on YouTube and follow along.

So let’s get started!

You will need to gather or purchase the following items. These items can be found on my website, and are Creative Memories products, however, feel free to adapt to the products you wish to use.

SUPPLIES:

  1. Croptoberfest 2021 Customer Bundle from Creative Memories (Project Recipe Kit, Cardstock Sampler, Embellishments)

  2. Croptoberfest Laser Paper pack

  3. 5 sheets of Spargo ruled paper

  4. 2 sets of dark green (or other) ABC’s (or die cuts or stamps) to create numbers 1-30

  5. Blank Creative Memories card kit

  6. Tape runner adhesive

  7. Repositionable tape runner adhesive

  8. Foam Squares

TOOLS:

  1. 12” trimmer with straight blade

  2. Personal Trimmer

  3. Custom Cutting System and Circle patterns

  4. Sunflower vine punch

  5. Diamond Arches punch

  6. Beveled tag punch (or similar)

  7. Spring Leaf punch

  8. Precision point scissors

  9. Ruler
