I’m really excited about starting this site because I love organizing and I love crafting.  From scrapbooking, to knitting, to sewing and making jewelry, I’ve been a crafter for most of my life.

Among the crafts I love, scrapbooking holds a special place for me and it is the craft form I’m most easily identified with. I made my first scrapbook pages in 1995 and I liked the results so much, I never stopped. My path from being a full-time mom of four (who just happened to love scrapbooking), to designing traditional and digital scrapbooking products, and then becoming a Creative Memories Advisor, Forever Ambassador and YouTube creator was entirely lit by love. The love of creating a meaningful legacy for those most important to me!

I have learned a lot over the last 25 years about scrapbooking, and my passion is to teach people the tools and techniques that can make scrapbooking easier, more accessible and fun. I incorporate what I have learned into my videos and share my scrapbooking and organization journey, tips and techniques, and the joy of creating albums on my YouTube channel CRAFTSOMEJOY which can be found here.

So while this site won’t be limited to scrapbooking, we’ll start there, hang out in the scrapbooking world long enough for me to convince you that, if you don’t already know it, you are a scrapbooker just waiting to happen and there are so many reasons to celebrate your life and those you love! 

Along the way, we’ll talk about organizing and art and craft and all the good reasons we have to dive into creating as a way to reflect on, and appreciate, our lives and ourselves. 

And for me, that is not as small as craft. I think it is as big as love.
